CENTRE "ENERGY SAVING"

The centre has been established on the base of the Resolution of the Fifth Baku International Congress "Energy, Ecology, Economy".

The main aim of the Centre is: To develop an objective complex program "Energy Saving for Azerbaijan" in the period 2000-2010 and the projects of their introduction in steps.

Currently the following works are carried out in the Centre:

• working out of energy saving projects in main branches of national economy- oil, petrochemical and energy supply
• study and distribution of recommendations on energy saving in municipal energy supply systems of the republic
• working out of recommendations on choice and standardisation of measuring units for energy saving
• implementation of measures demonstrating the efficiency of energy saving projects.
