DEPARTMENTS
OF THE INTERNATIONAL ECOENERGY ACADEMY
Department
"OIL"
Analysis
of the natural energy sources shows that today oil and gas are the main
products used for development and transport of energy as well as the
main raw material for petrochemistry. This is why further refinement
of the prospecting and exploration methods for new unconventional oil
and gas deposits, rational development of the fields and utilisation
of hydrocarbons, always with considerations for environmental impact,
represent a most important technical and economic task facing all international
community... (More)
Department
"GAS"
The main objectives
of the Department are:
- development
of organisational and technologic principles for effective functioning
of the fuel and energy complex of the Republic under emerging market
relations.
- development
and implementation of a strategy of effective, reliable and environment
friendly energy supply for the state economy and domestic needs, with
consideration for development of all industries... (More)
Department
"ELECTROENERGY"
Natural resources
and conditions of Azerbaijan contributed to development of the Republic's
energy industry and its leading role, not only in the Caucasian Region
but in the whole Soviet Union. Today the Republic energy supply system
is represented by a range of thermal and hydraulic power stations with
power more than 5000 MWt, including a major thermal power station with
power 2400 MWt and good prospects for further expansion; long-distance
transmission lines 35-110-220-350-500 kV and modern control and management
systems...

"ECOLOGY"
Activities of the
department include systematic research on: environmental issues of the
Caspian basin and Absheron peninsula caused by oil and gas fields' development
in the Contract area; problems in the agricultural sector of the state
economy of Azerbaijan; establishment of regional ecological intrabasin
management system aimed at obtaining biologically clean agricultural
products; rational utilisation by phyto- and agrophytocenoses of radioactive
energy and water resources; development and practical realisation of
complex measures for recultivation of lands damaged during mining of
organic and mineral raw materials and construction of surface and subsurface
communications; examination of ecological state of saline and eroded
soils and radiological conditions in agricultural regions with concentration
of major industrial enterprises and development of measures for elimination
of such conditions; ecology of vegetation, medical ecology and assessment
of how the environment affects humane body; mechanisms and peculiarities
of damaging effects from "ecological" UV-radiation for biologic systems...

Department
"WATER ECOSYSTEM"
Activities of the
department are aimed at preventing the disruptions in water ecosystems:
a)
development of theoretic principles and validation of practical methodologies
for purposeful rehabilitation of disrupted water and water-associated
ecosystems;
b)
creation of complex environment protection programs for preservation
of the water resources and their rational utilisation for public water
supply systems;
c)
development of highly-efficient methods of preservation of the water
ecosystems... (More)
Department
"MATHEMATICS, PHYSICS AND TECHNICAL SCIENCES "
The main functions
of the Department include both fundamental and application research
in the Arts and exact sciences as applied to the problems of ecology
and energy generation...

"BUILDING COMPLEX"
Building Complex
is one of the main and important parts of a national economy and fulfils
a special function. Being one of the investment industries, not only
does it create an expanded reproduction of the fixed assets in all other
industries but also plays an important part in economic development,
development of technology, balanced development of economy and its planned
re-equipment, rational allocation of productive forces, development
of new territories and new directions of industry etc. Being both a
generator and consumer of fixed assets, the building complex is directly
related with problems of ecology, energy and economy...

Department
"ECONOMY"
The energy complex
of Azerbaijan plays a leading part in the whole economy of Azerbaijan
and represents a great interest for the world's economy.
The
main task of the transition period towards a civilised market-orientated
